I always go for Desert Essence and Alba Botanica. Both brands are natural. paraben free, and not tested on animals.

You can use aloe vera as a skincare and hair care product both, it is a great moisturizer for skin and a great conditioner for hair, i m using it for past several months, and i really like it. it does not burn your pocket, and you can have a aloe vera plant at your home.
