NOT SURE IF THIS IS THE RIGHT SPOT BUT IF NOT FEEL FREE TO MOVE IT.

I WAS AT ZELLERS IN ORLEANS TODAY AND BOUGHT SOME LUGGAGE ON FOR $15.99. IT RANG UP FOR $37.99. I ASKED TELLER ABOUT SCOP AND SHE SAYS TH EMANAGER HAS MADE IT CLEAR TO ALL TELLERS THAT THEY DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN SCOP. I ALSO PURCHASED MAYBE 6 OTHER DIFFERENT ITEMS WHICH ABOUT 3 OF THEM CAME UP AS MORE THAN THE SALE/CLEARANCE MARKED PRICE. I ASKED ANOTHER GUY ON THE FLOOR WORKING AND HE SAID THE SAME THING THE TELLER SAID.

GUESS WHAT I AM ASKING IS; IS IT UP TO THE PARTICULAR ZELLERS OWNERS TO PARTICIPATE? DOES ZELLERS EVEN PARTICIPATE? IF I WAS RIGHT AND THEY WERE WRONG WHAT SHOULD I DO BECASUSE THE ITEMS WOULD HAVE TOTALLED AROUND $25.00

Zellers only participates in SCOP in Quebec because it's the law.

I am not sure if it is ALL Zellers, but the ones around here do NOT participate in SCOP, which sucks cause they always get the price wrong.

My Zellers (Ottawa area) does not. No surprise, since nothing is ever priced right. I don't take my eyes off the register the entire time I am there.

As far as I am aware, no Zellers are part of SCOP (except PQ as mentioned above)

Yes as mentioned before Zellers does not participate in SCOP ..except for Quebec where they are forced to participate since SCOP is the law in Quebec . Its mandatory in Quebec & not optional like other provinces .

But Zellers still has to give it to for the price advertised in all other provinces in case it scans higher..( No SCOP though )

Zellers doesn't participate in SCOP but if the price is wrong they should be adjusting it to the correct price.

Also if you don't post in all caps, it's easier to read

Zeller's does not participate in SCOP which is a voluntary program. Zeller's are also not individually owned.
