Well, I posted in the stickied thread but didn't post a thread here for myself.
My name is Debbie and I'm 29 and from Winnipeg, also known as Winterpeg, Mosquitoville, etc. My boyfriend and I live in Transcona with his 11 year old son who is with us full time except for every second weekend and some holidays with his mom.
I got interested in coupons when recently I stumbled upon the "FPC" from SkinnyCow and I've seen a number of people using coupons but other than the Coupon Zone at RCSS I never really knew where to get any coupons. Well, I started my hunt to find out where people get coupons from, and how coupons work because I'd like to start saving money too. Groceries are getting crazy expensive, and I noticed a huge jump in the cost of food when we started cutting out a lot of junk food and going to healthier food.
It's amazing the wealth of information out there. Especially with Facebook bringing me to "Canadian and US Samples and Freebies Oh My", "Canadian Samples and Freebies", and "" which eventually lead me to smartcanucks.ca
This place is simply amazing. There are so many friendly and generous people who are more than happy to share their knowledge and time.
I am still slowly learning how this all works, and today I just got my first envelope of P&G coupons! Two days ago I got my sample Gillette Fusion proglide in the mail as well. It's almost like it's Christmas or my birthday getting samples or coupons!

Just got back from our trip to West Edmonton Mall and have a ton of coupons to trade now!
I have a list posted in my profile area of the coupons I have for trade. Looking for grocery coupons mostly, but also paper products as well. Not sure if we're also supposed to have a forum post as well, but please PM me with any of the coupons you would like and we can try to work out a trade :)
