Hello,
I had a bizarre experience at Safeway today. I was picking up some toothpaste and a woman came up to me and said she had noticed my binder. She said that she was planning to host a "how to coupon" workshop for local people and wanted to know if I could help.
Anyhow, what I'm wondering is would any of you like to help out as well. I don't know a whole bunch about it yet, but if shes planning a free workshop to teach people how to coupon, it couldn't hurt to bring the SC influence about ethical couponing to the table.
If she's planning to charge for it, I'm going to tell her to pound sand though lol.
Let me know if any of you would like to get together to help out!

Hmm...not sure what to think...the stores hardly have enough stock to handle the couponers we have! Lol...I would def. find out whether she is charging for this or not...she can always come out to one of our coupon meetings - second Friday of every month at Decades coffeehouse on Wellington, 7:30pm.

No way! A lot of people are trying to do this and CHARGING perspective couponers' to participate. I find this incredibly tasteless. This also lets more people think that they can take the entire pads for their own personal use and leave nothing to the other people who have been very respectful about couponing in the past. I have no problem with people shopping for their families/friends but when there are garage sales locally with the products and coupons for sale on the internet..... shame ladies. It is no wonder stores like LD were forced to change store policy. Couponers have now been given a bad name.
