I went through what coupons I had and what I understood to be their policy, and she agreed with me on ALL points., from the use of a coupon which value os greater than the product, to applying overages against the entire putchase (not in cash), to "one per purchase" meaning one coupon per product. It was great speaking with a head office so caring about their customers and prompt to get to the bottom of an issue - she committed to me that she would be calling me and emailing me by no later then the end of the week. Hopefully this will correct the problem at store level, and the rude boy who was working there will be trained on customer service and told not to outright LIE to customers. I am very willing to go back and try this store again after HO has resolved this issue and hope that the changes are good! Just wanted to share the story
Today I went to the Dollarama in Milton and they didn't want to take those $3 off Poly to Go coupons either but after much debate they decided if I bought 1 more unit to make it an even $6 I could use the coupons.

So silly when I had more items in my cart and the extra money could have gone to those items and I honestly don't see how two products coupons are going to be used on 3 items when this store goes to redeem them but whatever I got my 3 products for free.

I'm a bit behind on this subject, please forgive me.
Printable coupons at Dollarama. Yes or No?
Is the $3 Poly to Go coupon the printable one?

Asked at the Dollarama in the Kingsway Plaza, Oshawa (King/Townline). Yes they are accepting coupons.

** Went there this morning and got 5 Finish Jet dry small bottles and 18 packages of Vilida Scrunge's for just over $8 with coupons for each item. Asked if they accept printables, was told no. They do have the Poly to go and even without the coupon its still a better price than buying it elsewhere with a coupon so will go back for some.**

In that case, Dollarama would not get the extra $1 and the company would not lose the extra $1. In addition, the customer gets their free/tax only product. It's a fair game for everyone. This is not unreasonable, since the receipt is usually mailed along with the coupon to the manufacturer.
i very much agree with you. and i think even they allow overage, the amount should only apply to the same product ~ for it's not fair and doesn't make sense for the company which issued the coupon subsidizing us to buy other company's product.
