Don't you hate it when you're all happy from saving money and then something poopy happens?
The poopy part first: When I initially tried to type this it was about my brag at Almost Perfect. I wanted to post the link to their current specials but when I clicked on the link on their site, I got Malware. Fortunately, I was able to go back to a system restore point from a few days ago and all seems good, so if you go to their site, don't click on the pdf link under their July Specials!
Okay, on to the fun stuff! I received the Almost Perfect monthly email the other day and saw they had veggie hot dogs and burgers in. I went to the store at Allen Road/Sheppard in Toronto for the first time and ended up with:
1 pack of jumbo veggie dogs (10 in a pack) for $2.99, on sale from $3.99
3 packs of Yves harvest burgers (4 in a box) for $3.97 each
1 pack of bean and cheese burritos, (8 in a pack) for $4.97
1 pack of cheese quesadillas (6 or 8 in a pack, not sure) for $3.97
1 coffee mate flavoured liquid hazelnut coffee whitener, $1.77
The veggie dogs in store would probably be $3.99 for 6 and the burgers I think are around $5.99. They had 3 different varieties of veggie burgers, mushroom, harvest and 1 other kind. They also had pilsbury cinammon buns that I wanted to get but they expired recently and I don't have time to make them, otherwise I would have got them, too!
They also had Yves veggie corn dogs if anyone likes them. All in all, everything worked out!
