Last week I noticed that I was overcharged for oranges at Safeway. The sign says "new lower price". They were originally $2.84/kg and were now $2.18/kg ($1.29/lb, now $0.99/lb). I was charged the old price. I took my receipt to the manager and he gave me a full refund mumbling about "some scanning thing says you get a full refund if it's under $5.00". haha, I know SCOP so almost laughed at his mumblings and the fact that's its a full refund if it's under $10.00, not $5.00!

Last night I purchased groceries and again I was charged the old, higher price for oranges AND a higher price for apples!! I noticed as soon as it rang up so I immediately took my receipt to customer service. The guy at customer service went and checked the prices and then came back and said "I'll return the items and ring them in at the right price for you". I looked straight at him and said "nope, you're gonna give me a full refund because these items are priced wrong and they are also under $10.00". He turned bright red, never said a word, then returned my money for both products! He had no intention of letting me know about SCOP!

I'm kinda annoyed that the manager never changed the oranges to the correct price when I brought it to his attention last week! Check your receipts! I came home with a bag of free oranges and apples!
