I had a great trip to Safeway today. I did pretty good even though they don't stack coupons.
2 toilet duck
Lysol bathroom cleaner
Lysol multi-surface cleaner
2 Febreze air freshners
2 Febreze noticeables refills
2 boxes Ziploc freezer bags
Men's Dove body wash and soap
Women's Dove body wash and soap
2 600mL bottles of St Ives (One came with code for $5.00 in coupons)
2 loaves of bread
5 boxes dunkaroos
4 boxes fruit gushers
1 box fruit by the foot
2 boxes of Bear Paws
2 bottles of V8 Fusion
1 Plain probiotic yogurt 750 mL
2 boxes of Coolision yogurt
2 jars of Bicks pickles
2 bottles of Newmans salad dressing
strawberries
apples
carrots
coleslaw
coupon saving was $23.40
Then the cashier swiped my club card. What a rush as I watched my bill go down another $74.20. I almost did an extreme couponer dance.
My total was 82.13 so I saved 55% at SAFEWAY with no stacking. My daughter will be sooo happy now that she has lots of snacks again!

I had the same type of experience today ... and was told by the cashier that she needed a manager because I saved too much money! LOL! The febreeze air effects were my best deal ... ended up being $1.00 each and I bought 12 .... gotta love BOGO!

I find i can get good deals at Safeway but you have to plan carefully so you don't overspend. And i really like the 10% off Tuesday.

It just started on Saturday so I think it ends on Friday. Don't give your safeway card until after the purchase so you can use a coupon on each item before it becomes free. I don't think they will let you use a coupon if the item rings up free.

I saved 42% at Safeway a few weeks ago with no coupons, no 10% Tuesday. Even the cashier was impressed. I lost my receipt on the way to the parking lot though.

Congrats mommy10. I usually aim for 50% savings on my shopping trips. It is hard when you have to buy meat and fruit though. I noticed this is your first post welcome to the community!
