Hey guys,
I did a search for this and found nothing on here about it.
Its not coupon related at all, however this site saves me a fortune in gas every week. Just last week gas in Kingston was 1.339 a litre, one gas station 4km away had it for 1.20!!
I have been a member for 3 years this Wednesday coming.
All you have to do is type in your location and a list of gas prices in your area will be given. Members report the prices as they see them and you can compair prices and buy your gas at the cheapest location without having to drive around looking.
You can sign up and become a member and report prices yourself and help the community, you will earn points which will get you entries to weekly $250 gas gift card giveaways.
There is a fourm there too with tons of info on gas prices and what effects them, even tax rates per provence. Lots of cool tools like trip planners and fuel monitors. Tax on gas in Ontario today is 39c !!!
Anyway I get nothing for you signing up or even looking. I just thought it is a great way for you all to find the best gas price in your location and therefore a great shopping deal

I use it occasionally, but it's pretty fixed in the GTA - maybe a cent or 2 difference, not enough to drive to that station to save 80 cents. If the government would actually allow competitiveness and were not intent on raping us at the pumps, maybe we'd see some real differences. I can't recall ever seeing a 10 cent difference in prices here, one goes up they all go up

@ Taylyn, you would be surprized which gas stations don't get the updates for a change in price. It saved me $7.89 last week to drive to that station and my GPS told me I used under $0.50.
@ mcandlish, now ya got a tool that you can use in the future, there are lots trends and news on there too.

*sigh* At the end of the day, it's just not worth it to me. I go to CT, get my CT money and drive away happy.

We have regulated gas prices here in NS... so unfortunately the most variation you might see in a given area is one cent.

I buy gas at Canadian Tire....On a fill-up, I'll get about $2 back in CT money (when you use the weekly x7,x8 or x10 multiplier from their flyer). I've found that the better than any cash-back or points system. (BESIDES the Native Reserve, which is like 20cents cheaper than anywhere else).
ps; Thanks for this post.Last edited by joellyos; Mon, Jul 18th, 2011 at 01:22 PM.
