Can you use a coupon on a product that already has a manager's special discount on the product?

I have many times. Sometimes the clerk doesn't want to but I sweet talk them into it. Actually it doesn't take much convincing. My sister spotted 2 full size McCain's cakes today that were regularly priced 3.49 with 3.00 off manager special stickers on them. She then used a 1.00 of coupon and got both for free!!!

Just remind them that the store is reimbursed the face value of the coupon plus handling fee, so the store is in fact making more money than if you don't use the coupon.

My SDM here outside Calgary does , I was told they received a fax a few weeks ago saying they could indeed do it. She said there wasn't really a good policy on it before that is why they were being careful. I would assume the fax came down to all the SDM's.
