If there's a possibility that their own country won't prosecute them, what's stopping them from returning to Canada to seek asylum with another fake passport? I don't know much about the legal system, but I'd be concerned that if Canada doesn't prosecute, they'd try their luck at entering Canada again.

Thanks, Natalka...I really don't understand the position of Amnesty International in this instance and can't find any information on it...perhaps they also feel that those scum won't get their day in court in their own countries? I'd love to give them the benefit of the doubt, but wish I knew more.....
