Just came across this ad on Kijiji and needed to rant:

Is it just me, or can you smell a shelf clearer???
Hopefully this is not the case :icon_scratch:

Wow! Maybe you should message her and remind her that selling coupons is against the law (says so right on the coupon!)
there are many of these kinds of people out there. Couponing has become a competative sport almost.
Really, I can't believe the nerve of some people. She is obviously not only taking all the tear pads, but selling products for 90% cheaper than the stores. Selling coupons and selling products purchased with coupons...makes me angry. It almost makes me want to set up a time to meet to see what she is selling and how much of it she has for sale.
Sad indeed!
I send that person an email that I will be taking that in to the office.. next time I go.. so do not worry.. guys it is a criminal offence.. to be selling coupons.. when she is found.. you guys will know about it... till then.. track her down...
I just donated 9 of these coupons to a lady who makes donations to a woman's shelter and my extra cleaning supplies go to the SPCA. This lady leaves a bed taste in my mouth. We should all contact kijiji and report her saying that selling coupons is illegal and her ad will be removed. I will do that now. Just go to the top left hand side where it says report this add and click on illegal/ scam
I'm happy to report, the ad has been removed.
Thank you to everyone who complained...it's people like that who are going to ruin it for the rest of us!
I just read this post and had to check it out for myself. I'm amazed at how many ads there are asking for $ for coupons. This might explain why I've never found any of the inserts in the paper.
In one ad the person actually listed their address in the NW, another says Riverbend, another SE and yet another in Leduc.
I don't know if it's illegal to sell coupons or not, so I won't comment on that. Although one of the ads states...you are not paying for the coupons, you are paying for their time to collect & clip them...maybe this gets them off the hook?
Somehow it just doesn't seem right.
That's funny...I was just on Kijiji...they may have removed one ad but there are still 8 ads posted that are asking $ for coupons.
P.S.
I'm not counting the ones that are asking for swap/trade...that doesn't concern me.
I reported this thread, why can't you people just mind your own coupons? who made you the coupon police??? I'm getting really sick of this crap
CNN recently reported about a woman in Texas that was caught taking coupons out of newspaper that she did not pay for. If she gets convicted she can go to jail for 4 years and pay a huge fine but I can't remember what the number was, it was a ridiculously huge amount. I tried to find a link and post it here but couldn't find it. I guess you don't mess with Texas. It's kind of pathetic in my opinion, pure greed and definitely not worth it.
new people in here getting rude with others.
I believe that the people who advertise on ebay are asking for $ for the time spent clipping the coupons and not the actual coupons. As long as the coupons are obtained legally, I do not have a problem with this. Having said that, I have never "bought" coupons.
For Tobiascaden, and Pathetic:
I have no problem with people charging a small fee for "coupon clipping" not for selling coupons or inserts. Coupon clipping is a service, you are not charging them for the coupon. Trading is NOT selling. Trading is a way for us to obtain more coupons of the products we need WITHOUT taking complete tear pads. I do have a problem with people taking complete tear pads and selling the coupon. That is just one example of why couponing is getting a bad rep. The other problem I had with this persons ad was that they were selling product for 90% of what the retail price is(and it was mentioned they had lots) so it leads me to belive that this person obtains a large amount of product via coupons and tries to turn a profit..that is basically a buisness..
if you find this website so rude then why bother even coming on here and reading all the posts and just now sign up to comment? The original poster adressed a serious issue especially when you go to the stores in the LOCAL area and never find any tearpads. I don't even know where you are from as you didn't want to disclose that. Since the Kijji ad actually affected this local area.
I find it interesting that it seems like tobiascaden and pathetic just joined to comment on this thread. What ticks me off is that the person is obviously taking all of the coupons and no one else is getting any unless they are buying them.
I obviously went and gathered them and it took me time. I still don't see the need to charge for them. If I don't use them I trade them or in the case of this particular coupon donated them.
It is the greed that bugs me. If they hadn't taken them all then others wouldn't need to buy them.
You obviously have not been around here long enough to know that there is an unofficial coupon code of conduct that we believe in and encourage others to follow.
OK so some send me a private message user name pathetic.. I am posting it here for all of you guys to see...

Firstly I will admit that I did not see the ad on kijiji. However....I have a slight problem with the "unofficial coupon code of conduct" nonsense. Do not shove your beliefs down other people's throats. And also please speak for yourself instead of saying "we" DO NOT LUMP EVERYONE TOGETHER. If there wasn't a need, then the service would not be available.
If someone was ruining your livelihood, I am sure you would be pissed too. Unless they specifically said that they took all the coupons in the ad, I would NOT go around assuming things. Is it possible that they took all the coupons? Yes it is. Do you know for sure?
Also what about people who take coupons they will never use just so that they can trade them?....
Actually what I can't trade I either RAOK at the store, or I have the address where to mail coupons for military familes because they are allowed to use them for up to 6 months past expiration date on the coupon. The coupons I take never go to waste, I make sure to give away what I cant use, or send away what I cant use.
Many of us also play coupon fairies and take our unused coupons to the grocery store and leave them on the product.
Just so you know I was in 4 back to back car accidents and did have my profession taken away. So now you are making assumptions about me.
OOPS Hit it twice. I guess the drama is over.
Lets not feed the troll please.
