My favourite cousin got hit riding his bike the day after his dad remarried a very nice lady. It was the middle of the day and a transport truck driver had been drinking. That poor family. It's not something you ever recover from.

OMG...that is so sad. I tore a strip of of my 5 yo son yesterday. He and the neighbour kids were playing in the cul-de-sac, and they were playing a hide and seek, chase me type game. He almost ran right in front of my neighbours car as she was coming home. If I hadn't of yelled at him to stop, He could have been hit. She was going really slow, because of all the kids on the street, but still.

They just get so excited playing and don't think of the cars.

Poor little guy. Thoughts and prayers going out to his family.

It was just on the news that Darius's uncle died in a housefire last night. Just hours after they buried the little boy. How tragic for this family!

That is sad. We had a similar thing happen here 3 day's ago. A 13yr old boy was riding his bike, and a car hit him at the cross walk. he died instantly. He wasn't wearing a helmet either. It's horrible when these things happen.
