First of all Natalka, Congratulations on your special day! Many many more!!
Your video is just as old as mine, lol! I think ours were 8mm with sound, Oh they are dreadful to view as you need the projector and screen set up.

I just knew there was a connection between us from the first time I spoke with you in a thread. I thought it was my love of all people Ukrainian
( don't laugh I do love every one I have ever met, and plus my MIL was that nationality)

I am in utter disbelief that you and I could possibly have the same wedding day!!
I have always joked about my " time served " meaning that for 4 years
( yes celebrated on that same date July 29th) DH and I had not had the actual wedding yet, so for us it is our illegal 32nd anniversary and legal 28th.

I took some " pictures of pictures " so the quality will be blah.

I think Lady Diana had the same day as us too.


The throwing of the bouquet I included because it was lol hilarious as all the senior women had a tug of war over it and when one finally let go of it the other one fell down!!
The garter removal is always a good fun time at weddings.
DH and his best man horsing around with the bouquets in the backyard,
( which is where the ceremony was held, in my in-laws backyard)
As always, we have way too much food in our lives, including this day!

So thanks Natalka! I didn't have to make my own Anniversary thread, I just jumped aboard yours!

Do you still have the korovai from your wedding? Most of my husband's relatives keep theirs in their china cabinets and replace them for their 25th anniversaries.

Do you still have the korovai from your wedding? Most of my husband's relatives keep theirs in their china cabinets and replace them for their 25th anniversaries.

We kept the korovai for about 15 years, I think it was, then one day I was getting something from the china cabinet and found the korovai was full of little black bugs.... Oh, how I cried and cried! - had to throw it out, couldn't salvage any of it...

You know what else I noticed? Both our guys wore lighter coloured suits to their wedding. I know the reason mine chose that way instead of a dark suit, he has awful uncontrollable dandruff and didn't want liitle white flakes all over his jacket.
I also agree that I would love to see others wedding pics and or videos! I must be a romantic I guess.

Husband chose light grey because it was summer - and he will not wear black (and he doesn't like me to, either...). The groomsmen wore waist-length tux jackets, which was pretty funky for then!
