problem with updating ticker

Hello fellow couponers! Would someone be so kind to show me some mercy and help me out with my factory ticker. I managed to get it to show up in my signature but I can not update it. I have read through some posts and people have said to click on it to update it but where? Do I click on it in a post? or on my edit signature page? If it is on the signature page, what part do I click on? I tried to do it through Ticketfactory site, but it wants me to start a new one. If you are willing to show some kindness, please be advised I am quite computer challenged so you will need to explain it as if you were talking to a 5 year old. Many thanks.

When you placed the code in your signature, it looks like you removed the actual HTML link to make it clickable; you will need to re-paste it into your signature and not edit the information provided to you in order to make it a link.

Thank you KrazE. I still am not able to click and open it to update it, but I can access it through TickerFactory now. Many thanks for your help.
