This counts as baking, even though it is not a dessert. I " invented " another casserole by layering sliced veg into my oblong pan ( celery, mushrooms, yellow and green zucchini, bell peppers and green onions, as well as gently sauteed pieces of skl/bnl turkey breast.
Poured a can of cream of mushroom soup ( diluted it with a can of water first ) over it all and into the oven for 1 hour.
This gave me 5 servings at just 184 calories each!

@walkonby , my mom loves rhubarb and we had it growing up (I used to run around with a cup of sugar eating it raw, I was that kid) but due the price we never buy it. This year I decided to try to grow some. It was planted late so we may not get any this year but excited for next year.
2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

I did not bake since a long time...decided to use my new stove it is intelligent and I made bananas -chocolate muffins using natasha's kitchen recipe.I make for me 15 muffins not 12 hahaha..Looks good.
Feel good to relax and take the time to bake again
I have the double amount for the same price at the grocery..really well-worthed!!!
I want to bake tripe berries natasha kitchen muffins when I will have finish those muffins, healthy popsicles and strawberries recipes too !!!
But I hated the fact that my flour was wasted because of the insects..so I purchased another bag and this time put it in a sealed container with a tip I read ..aluminium foil in shaped round ball..hope it will work..just something that discourage me to bake before..but now with everything so expensive no choice haha
Same with brown sugar it is dry but I put a little ceramic bear soak in water before..hope it will be rescued...?
I put some muffins in freezer ziplocs bags for the fridge and the others with saran wrap on the counter.Last edited by cath007; Sun, Jul 10th, 2022 at 09:46 PM.

I watched the video. I hope that the balls of aluminium work for you. I found many of the ideas demonstrated to be quite silly in that they require expenditure of additional expensive resources in order to preserve others; like spending a quarter to save a dime's value in fruit.
My food may not befit a king, but I eat like a horse.

made a batch of coconut scones to use up the leftover 1/2 can of coconut milk and 1/2 small bag of coconut flakes. They turned out better than my blueberry scones; my hubby thinks because the extra moisture from the blueberries vs the coconut flakes which are dry.

Yesterday I went on an Empanada making tear. With my nifty pan ( tool ) that makes 12 at a time, that part was easy. 36 are made and frozen.
I baked up the remaining 7 pies from the scraps of dough ( re-rolled ) and the leftover filling. The guys had those with their dinner.
