I discovered THREE jars of Nutella in the cupboard in various stages of emptiness?? Since DS is the only one who eats this stuff I now question his
practice of opening a new jar before the old one gets scraped out??? Then I found a recipe for a 2 ingredient Nutella cake!!
Just 6 eggs at room temp beaten for 10 min. with a hand held mixer. Nuke 350 gr. Nutella for 15 seconds, add to whipped eggs. Bake in greased cake
pan at 375 for 30 minutes! Cool, flip out of pan, dust top with icing sugar and I squeezed threads of a Peanut Butter glaze over it because why not? ha ha

Yes why not add icing sugar in case it is not sweet enough already!

So funny @lizzie bargain I was very surprised that this did not even taste sweet! If it wasn't for that dusting of
icing sugar and the PB syrup a sweet lover would have been disappointed. Texture wise it sort of reminded me
of cloud bread. Not cakey at all. I sipped a weak cup of tea ( I don't take sugar in tea ) with my slice. Went down easy!

Well I didn't bake but wanted just one apple fritter-instead it came in a 6 pack and the rest are in the freezer! Definitely don't need more than one of those a day-or any for that matter! Nice to have a sweet treat on vacation.

A loaf of my go-to no-knead bread with 10% shredded domestic parm and a 1/2 tsp of Italian seasoning mix. I had made this recently for gifting, so decided to repeat for us.

1 sheet of puff pastry was left over from last night's apple dumplings up so I rolled and stretched it over a large cookie sheet to make a pizza. Should be ready in 10 more minutes.

Yesterday I decided to try to get back into my prep routine and I made a batch of Peanut Butter Blossom Bars (I was craving chocolate but not too much chocolate, it is a thing for me).

I also made a small batch French Bread, this was my first time making bread using a stand mixer, normally I use our bread machine or a no knead recipe. It is good the loaf is bigger than I expected and I think I might have over mixed it a bit but I know for next time and I will try again. It was so easy to make actually did not take that long to make compared it other recipes where it takes half a day to make, this one was in the oven in an hour.

@SassyAshley I started using my stand mixer machine to make bread dough for a different reason....I have almost no wrist strength left in my hands for kneading. The machine makes the dough so fast and comes out great every time. I've never tried making French bread, enjoy yours!
