Thanks again @walkonby for posting this . I made some yesterday and it turns out really good. Made it with the Goat and cranberry cheese and toasted coconut and the family like it. Next time I will try it with different cheese .

Made a Pineapple Upside Down Cake, we do not make this often but I have some frozen Pineapple from Costco and wanted something different. No Cherries but it is okay just Pineapple in a Caramel Sauce works for me.

Although I will admit I cheated a little bit, I did use a Cake Mix for the Cake part LOL

first time making real donuts; the recipe was very easy too
my glazing technique is not very good but they tasted fluffy, soft, and chocolatey.

Yesterday I baked the Anna Pavlova dessert. This dessert is based on the meringue. I just tested a new mixer, my husband gave me a Braun HM5100 for Valentine's Day. My mixer burned out and this gift was negotiated, only my husband chose the brand and model himself, and I, having received the gift, looked for its description and comparison with other similar models.

walkonby i have a special pineapple upside down cake pan which is round and has the pineapple indentations . Thats another thing i havent made in a donkeys age. Must add this to my baking list. My daughter wants me to make Krustiki, its a ukranian fried cookie thingy. /But i want to teach her how to make them so it will have to wait until we can get together for a bit.

OOOO lala! @Purdee you should be proud, your donuts look professional!! About the simplicity of the PUC recipe, I do believe it is something kids 8-12 could make themselves. Just a fun cake playing with pineapple rings, maraschino cherries and such.
