Yesterday I made Banana Muffins as I had some Bananas that had reached the baking stage
This morning I made Cinnamon Buns, I have literally been talking about wanting to make Cinnamon Buns for over 2 years but I just never do it. It is not that I find it hard cause I use the Bread Machine but it is kind of one of those things that takes a commitment. It takes time to make.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Anna Olson's chocolate chips cookies; they turned out fine, I don't think they are the best but definitely better store bought ones

Mmmmm, I should NOT be in this thread! Date squares and Chocolate Chip Cookies? Especially anything from Anna Olson's, her recipes are always top notch!

GF Oatmeal Cookies
It was a bit of a disaster because the recipe is in grams and I discovered after weighing one ingredient that the battery in the scale was low and could not weigh anything else! It was a 9V and I didn’t have an extra. Pulled the back-up 9V out of my clock radio but it was dead also. Considered taking the 9V out of the smoke detector but remembered that the new smoke detector is one of those 10-year things with a lithium battery I think. Anyway, went online and did my best to convert. Also made the mistake of adding the dried cranberries directly to the wet ingredients which ended up soaking up all the liquid (soymilk) so I had to add more.
But all things considered they came out pretty good and I will make again now that I replaced the battery. (Oh, and after that I ended up finding a working 9-volt battery in my stash - just didn’t look in all the nooks and crannies of where I keep these things! Sigh...)Have a great life!

It’s not baked but it is a dessert kinda thing. I made peanut butter and chocolate rice cakes. I added sliced bananas in between. Yum!

Just pulled 2 strawberry/rhubarb pies from the oven.
Why did I have to see a 1 lb. pkg. of rhubarb at WM this morning? For all the great savings I got on the 3 bags of reduced ( going to spoil soon, lol ) produce, this rhubarb was NOT a good price imho. ( I dunno, is $4.49 as lot for a pound? )

I dont remember where i posted this bjut i made Fresh Fruit Muffins the other day (which were super super good) and i said i would post the recipe. So here is the recipe:
FRESH FRUIT MUFFINS
1 MEDIUM OR LARGE EGG
3/4 CUP SUGAR
1/2 CUP OIL (I USE MAZOLA)
1/2 TSP ALMOND EXTRACE
2 CUPS FLOUR
1/2 TSP SALT
1/2 TSP BAKING SODA
1/2 TSP BAKING POWDER
1 CUP SOUR CREAM OR PLAIN YOGURT
1 1/2 CUPS FROZEN FRUIT (I USED FROZEN BLUEBERRIES)
MIX FLOUR, SALT, BAKING SODA, BAKING POWDER. IN A SEPARATE BOWL, MIX EGG, SUGAR, OIL AND ALMOND EXTRACT TOGETHER
INCORPORATE BOTH MIXTURES AND SLOWLY ADD THE SOUR CREAM. DELICATELY ADD THE FROZEN FRUIT TO MIXTURE.
FILL 12 (OR MORE) MUFFIN TINS AND BAKE AT 400f FOR 20 MINUTES (OR A BIT LONGER)
NOTE: THE RECIPE CAN BE DOUBLED. YOU CAN ALSO SUBSTITUTE THE FRUIT FOR 1 CUP BLUEBERRIES AND 1/2 CUP RASPBERRIES.
I ALSO SPRINKLED SOME BAKERS SUGAR ON TOP. SUPER GOOD.
