Received an e-mail saying I won $250 from the Yahoo Canada contest (http://www.beabettercontest.com/).

I thought it was posted here...guess not. I'll post it now.

This morning, I wrote a cheque to the Farley Foundation for $100 and mailed it on my way to work as well as a cheque for $50 to the local Archiological Society Foundation and dropped it off in their mailbox. This afternoon, when I checked my e-mail, I found out I won the $250. :top:

I have often found the same thing.. it is only when I have done something unusually good for others that I end up winning something. COngratulations!

I just got selected as one of the 20 short list for the iwilldreambig contest - but get nothing for that.

I need to find a BMX trick biker within 12 hours who can perform on Sat at Eaton Center or I won't accept (no use my standing there trying to present )

Congrats filis.....Good luck finding a biker remarker. I can't help you out (don't know any bikers or even watch it), but maybe someone one here can help you out. I think you should post your request in the general discussion area.

Thanks Irene - I did and I emailed a couple of Toronto BMX sites and talked to a few people who love the idea - just not a biker yet.
