This is weird. I got an email from super savers (moneysaversdirect.com) and the header says I've won $ 100 in free groceries. The email body says its $ 50 in free groceries and they ask me to send a SASE. They'll rush my prize out as soon as they receive my 4 x 52 cent stamps. Is this normal ? They also remind me to register as a coupon processor. I looked at that last week but you have to send money for the kit so I passed on that. So, is this prize for real ? Or am I making a mistake sending the SASE ? And do I put the 4 stamps on the SASE ? help, I'm confused !!!

This sounds very fishy. First you should never, ever have to pay for a prize. Secondly, they want you to buy their kit - that's why they had the contest. Read the fine print somewhere, I'm going to be negative here and suggest that winning the money may probably be contingent upon you joining up with them.
Might be wrong, I don't know the company, but it doesn't sound right....

sounds fishy...and to the people that emailed you should let them know stamps are .54 cents not .52 and you dont need 4 of them to mail the prize...it would need 1.18 stamp to mail the gift card if that sooo I would be weary of it :(

Yes you should never have to PAY for a prize .. unless.. erm.. it's stated in the rules..? Either way I wouldn't pay for a prize.. what's the point in winning if you have to pay for it? [unless it's insurance for winning a new car ;)]

Omigod.. all this talk about McMuffins makes me want one.. I can never get one as thy stop it before I can get there.. lol.. Only time I can ever get one is when I go out with my parents gallivanting early early morning [ie flea market shopping.. or to toronto etc etc].

There were 3 prizes, the laptop being the 3rd place prize and the one I really wanted....I can not believe it!!!! I get to pick it up in a day or 2 once all the winners are announced in the paper.

That's just WONDERFUL!!!
In the past, we had three wins from local drugstores - nothing as big as yours, but I guess the odds are just much better than bigger contests! Funny, the only one I can remember is a kids' sleeping bag from BandAid which was bright orange with neon green lettering. Oh, another was sunscreen products...
