k I got a phone call just now saying that I won a vacation to Cancun from Zellers, The Bay and stuff and than it asked me to press a number if I wanted it or something and it would be $5 and something for shipping....I just put down the phone cause I didn't know if was real or not....never won anything before so I don't know how it works.....u think it was real or fake?
I just googled it and I have to say that others are receiving the same call. The contest for cancun through Zellers was over at the beginning of the year and the trip was for the March break. Its a scam I believe. Everyone is saying its automated. I'm sure if you won a prize of that kind of significant value, you'd be receiving a call from a real person.1-800 notes in google is reporting a ton of calls about this same thing. :(Quote:

yeah thought it was scam since it was automated....didn't enter the dose one...the number for the scam is 1-231-732-2964...lol I wish I really did win a trip :)
Area code 231 is in Northern Michigan. - Would definitely not be from a Canadian Contest.
Received the same call. Supposedly someone signed me up at a Kiosk at one of their stores. Well wasn't that nice of them? lol. I did get a letter in the mail today though telling me I had won a Treehouse gift pack. I'm excited about that, sent the forms back with my STQ answer. Yeah, my daughter gets a present, lol. :)
