I just received an email from CTS TV station:
Congrats - you've won a family four-pack of tickets to see Disney on Ice next Wednesday, March 18 at the Rogers Centre! I've put the tickets in the mail for you, so you should be receiving them soon.
Thanks for watching at Real Life!
I cant go so have to find a taker for the tix, anyone want to trade/buy? PM if interested.

I love this thread!!!
Congrats everyone!
I've been fairly lucky with radio contests, I listen to the same station all the time.
Earlier this year I won tickets to see Il Divo in April. Couldn't pay me to listen to them, so I sold 'em for $200. :) Then a few weeks ago I won tickets to a bridal show (gave those away to a bride to be I know!) and tickets to a Songwriters Circle show. Hubby and I got a night out without a toddler! :excited:
All last summer, the contest was, be the correct caller, answer some silly questions, get three right and you win! The prize? Ice cream - an 11.4 litre carton of whatever flavour they featured that week. And the daily winner was entered into a weekly draw for an ice cream social for 50 people. There was often another prize included with it - a gift certificate to a store, concert tickets.
I won maple walnut first. Gift certificate to a store that sold overpriced swimsuits. How the heck was I going to fit into a swimsuit anyhow after eating 11 litres of ice cream?
Then a couple weeks later, I won black forest cheesecake. Backstreet Boys tickets came with that one, sold them for $100 or so.
After that, I won butterscotch ripple.
THEN I won the ice cream social! :excited: That wasn't quite what I imagined, it was yet another 11.4 litre carton of ice cream (vanilla this time), a tin of butterscotch and chocolate syrup, about a tablespoon of sprinkles, and plastic dishes and spoons.
No wonder I gained so damned much weight last year! In all, that was 44 LITRES OF ICE CREAM! Fortunately though, my brother came to visit from California in October and cleaned up what was left.

That is too funny about the icecream.
Black Forest cake and Backstreet Boys? What a strange combination.
I always say a win is a win. lol
Congrats!!
Zonny-first way to go with all the ice cream!!! Your post reminded me of a win I had years ago in a recipe contest. I won a year's supply of sour cream and cottage cheese from Yoplait!!!It was like something out of a sitcom. I had forgotten all about my year of dairy-thanks for the post!
Zonny your list of wins are too funny. All that ice cream - I wonder if ice cream baths would be good for the skin....or something!!!
Congrats to all - got to love this thread for spreading hope!!!!
We prefer to keep our ice cream for internal use only.
I have a nearly-three-year-old and a husband, all three of us love ice cream!
As for spreading hope...you don't have any if I'm trying to call in on the same contest you are!~ Heehee.
