I hope I can be a good mother-in-law...but it is so hard to keep up with all the phases...you start off as a newlywed...move on to motherhood...then mother-in-law...then :yikes:a grandma....where did all that time go!!!

Just out of curiousity since I am hoping for some contest wins since many are expiring end of April/Early May.

How do you know if it's a legit phone number calling to verify you are a winner? I have caller ID, so will it say " Toronoto Life " (just an example if the contest was hosted by TL). Or will it be un-named?
I just hope I don't miss a chance to win because my family members or I don't pick it up because we think it's some junk call.

Aliciax when we won the prize from OLG and Vtech they both came in as private name private number or unknown name unknown number. I would think if you have an answering machine they would leave a call back number.

I won beans again! (JELLY BELLY) One for the hubby and one for the Bro. I enter my fav flav and then spin.

Everyone has won the beans but me! I keep letting my kids take turns with the spins and boy oh boy does my son want to win them something bad! The contest has a long life so I figure we gotta win sometime, right?!?!?!!? Congrats to everyone who has won!

For the jellybean contest it says you will receive your prize in 6-8 weeks, but they also send you this coupon that is illegible.
Do you know which way it works. Coupon, or mail? :shrug:

I'm not sure. They only have a toll free # or snail mail address to contact them (and I have been too busy to call and ask):shrug:

I finally received my Kitchen Calamity prize - so here's what I got!
A really nice Wear Ever Fry pan - this pan is heavy!
An "Incredible" apron (egg board)
An "Incredible" tote bag (egg board)
A spatula & A wire Whisk

All in all not a bad prize!

I'm still trying to win some Jelly Belly Beans!! LOL!

I sent them an email about the illegible coupon and they said a new one was being made. I got an email today and they reactivated my free coupon link. The coupon is exactly the same except the writing is much more clear.

I won the free jelly belly bag too. The jellybelly contest is pretty vague. It said that for me too, that you will get a link emailed to you, which I got. But it also said you will receive your prize in 6-8 weeks, maybe that is if you win the grander prizes?

I won a contest at work for registering the most acts of green on the CBC one million acts of green website. My company was competing to be the "greenest" company so they offered three $100 gift cards to mountain equipment co-op for three employees who contributed the most.

And I won one! I've always wanted to go to the mountain equipment co-op downtown, now I have an excuse!
