Which Contests have you won

I got a call from a Petro Canada representative asking if I could I please edit my posts

They said they did not know about Lachlan's forum posts See if he edits his.

I have now edited my post.

Everyone who makes it to the voting wins a prize - don't have to win the Grand Prize for that - so yeah, I'll be getting something no matter what happens now.

Okay, I have all the details for the Blue Rodeo trip.
Here's where I need some input from our Torontonians....
We'll be staying at the Pantages Hotel on Young and Dundas.
What is around there that we should go see? (walking distance, hopefully) We'll have a whole day and a half for sightseeing, so lay it on me, lol!!

I also found out that the concert is strictly private, no public guests! There will be a few contest winners, friends of the band and record label people. Very neat

I do know that the Eaton Center (BIG mall) is right around there.

Hmm... Where to go?

For shopping: Eaton Centre (Yonge and Dundas), and walk north on Yonge St to Bloor for (pricier) stores.

For sightseeing: walk south to the Harbourfront, b/c it's nifty, although I don't know what there is to do there right now. In the summer, they have tons of festivals and things happening there. I'm trying to think of what else is walkable! Yorkville (up past Bloor) is pretty. Also the CN Tower (walk south to Front Street and then west), and the ROM (up to Bloor and then west).

Catspajamas, to add to what joyful already mentioned, there's also Chinatown and Kensington market, which is about a mile west along Dundas towards Spadina. Also, there's Centre Island, which is only a ferry ride away from Harbourfront.

I won a Harry Potter contest from the National Post back in July and have yet to receive my prize. Emails, letters and phone calls to the marketing dept. of the National post are ignored. So much for that.

Last night I attended a Billy Joel concert (fabulous) with three family members -4 tickets courtesy of the local paper.
