I won avon cream thru a blog contest [ 4 fabulous familes] that was being offered/sponsored by an avon rep named tina cheaney. I inquired in december about when to expect the prize from her.. no email. So I contacted 4fabfam and they went to inquire.. nothing.
Inquired again the other day and got an email [with a few typos.. mainly saying Liz [me?] isn't responding to emails [I think they meant "tina" that's the avon sponsored the contest]].
Basically the email said there's nothign they can do but keep sending her emails and hope she responds.. and sorry this contest wasn't a positive experience for me.
Suffice to say I won't be entering any of 4 fabulous families blogs anymore [sadly Tina's actions have had a more negative effect on me; including the blog contest she sponsored; it spoiled that blog for me; oh well.]
Naturally I won't give up on blog contests! ^_^
Here's to us winning lots and lots in 2010!:wav:[and the prizes actually showing up!]

Got an email from Tina [avon rep sponsoring the contest back in november for 4fabfam blog]. Turns out she was trying to contact me.
But as I've said before the emails I got were typo'd and mis-grammared and generally I could only make out half of what it said [plus it was riddled with html code and failure to delivery messages].
Anywho turns out Tina's husband forgot to mail my prize and it's been sitting in his glovebox. So she needed my address agains o i emailed her back with my info and apologized as well for the misunderstanding [I partically blame the fact that i've been since for over a month and that's why I couldn't understand the emails completely... ... ........................... sorta lol].
But whatever. Point is everything got sorted out so that's good =)
I felt bad being mad over a prize lmao.
