I got a letter from Readers Digest labelled 'Qualifying Winner'. I thought it was one of those advertisements that look like a contest, but it actually was a win.

I won an all day pass from Family Channel for Horseshoe Adventure Park (value $54) but when you go to the website it says the zip line and water ride aren't open, so you can mini putt or ride the bike trails. And only one pass.

I just spend 2-4 hours a day at it. When I first started contesting I entered every contest and just won lots of spam and junk I didn't even want. I decided that when I wasn't winning I was doing something wrong and kept trying different methods to be more efficient. Only enter contests you are likely to win and avoid the ones that waste your time for small results. I estimate that if you work really hard at it you get about a 1% chance of winning something good on any particular day (one good win for every 100 days of entering)
