I decided to take a chance tonight and ask at my local variety store, if I could take all of the unsold newspapers for the week. He gladly handed them over and we took them home to search for Smart Source inserts. I ended up finding 17 inserts

I have them for trade, a few are picked over but not all of them. It was a good find for us!This thread is currently associated with: Smart Source

I haven't worked up the nerve to ask but I may do that some time. I've also thought about posting a general note to my building that Unit X is interested in taking in any extra coupon inserts, but I don't know how well that would go over.

I asked at the one store near us that we frequent. The owner is a very nice Chinese man. I just asked if I could have any extra papers for my neighbor's puppy, craft projects and coupons. The papers will be put to good use

I mustered up the courage to do the same thing at the RCSS in my area, just before they closed on the sunday night. I saw the young cashier with the stack and just said excuse me could i have the coupons in the papers please? Scored around 10 inserts :o)
