Walmart clearance and coupon brag!

So decided today to head out to a different Walmart store for a change and here's what I got after hitting the sales, coupons and clearance racks:

8 tanks tops for dd Reg:$40 clearance total: $12
1 Hoodie for dd $12 marked to $3
1 Sweatpants for dd $10 marked to $3
2 dresses for dd $16 marked to $6
1 dress for niece $8 marked to $3
2 swimsuits for dd $18 marked to $6
1 swimsuit for niece $9 marked to $3
1 Resolve spray and wash $2.97 whole rack in wrong space got for $2 - $1 off coupon = $1
1 Hair Dye $5.97-$2 coupon = $3.97
6 Yogurt tubes $1.67each (just a great price)= $10.02
1 Bleach $2
3 Trial shaving cream $1.27each = $3.81-$5coupon = -$1.19 (love these for weekends away)
5 aspirin $4.67 each = $23.35 - $30 coupons (finally I get some! should be good now for my arthritis this winter!) -$6.65
Set of training wheels $19.93

Should have been $194.24 full price no coupons
OOP = $74.39 WOO HOO!!!!!

Great job! Ok so, dumb question...where are the clearance racks at Walmart? are they throughout or are they in a specific spot?

I almost forgot the training wheels that were included in the $74 bill. They alone were $22.52. DD is very happy with the new clothes for next year. She had to try them all on when she got home. Got my niece a dress, swimsuit, crayola markers, crayola crayons, a pail, a shovel and an easter toy all for next easter under $10. My sister is impressed with that one!

Sarah, not a dumb question at all. They hide them!!! usually along the outside wall at end of season with little yellow signs. Swimsuits were hidden in a back corner beside kids changing rooms and my ds found them. I have trained my kids well. From the time DS was two he would ask if the item was on sale that we were buying. Now the kids cheer if the mailbox has coupons in it and sigh when it is empty. Good luck clearance shopping. Oh, also check different departments in the store at the ends of the aisle racks closest to the outside wall of the store. That's where all the good clearance stuff is usually hiding.
