Expiredi recieved an email from airmiles reward program that if we take a pledge to save on energy we get 15 airmiles these are very easy to collect now a days lol

It looks like it is only for Ontario residents because it says: airmiles rewarded to Ontario addresses.

yes, just a promise, but you can easily promise to use their coupon for lightbulbs - I used it anyway and got really cheap lightbulbs
