Thread: Freshco. Price Matching

Just wondering if anyone else here in town has been told that Freshco. doesn't price match to Zellers. I was there last night to make my final 4cent soup purchase and the cashier was VERY quick to snap out that they don't PM Zellers as they are not a leading grocery competitor. I told her it was fine, I would take by business elsewhere. Anyone else heard this one before?

I have - no frills will also not PM zellers or rexall
Walmart seems to be the best bet for Price matching....good think the soup is on for 0.49 this week at rexall, you should be able to get your last 4 for free!

Hmmm, darn - I should have waited. Oh well can't complain about 4cent soup - I gave most of it away anways. Thanks Tania for the heads up on PM'ing - Walmart is SLOWLY regaining my trust and business.

I was told the same thing at Fresco a few weeks ago when I tried to PM something from Shoppers Drug Mart. WM is the best place to PM.

At the Fergus Fresh Co. I have been told that if it's not a grocery store, the will not PM.
The Mount Forest No Frills is really good about PMing. The only store they won't PM is Canadian Tire.
