Thread: Best prices for Thomas toys?

Hi there!
I have 2 big Thomas the Train fans in my house and want to start looking for Christmas deals. We used to have a store in our city that sold Thomas wooden trains out of the packaging for amazing, amazing prices (I'm talking $1 for Thomas and nothing more than $10 for a train - some of which are over $30 in stores!). My boys never cared that things were out of packaging or that the odd one says For Display Only underneath. Unfortunately it closed down
Does anyone know of any other stores that have Thomas toys like this or great deals on Wooden Thomas? Even when I look on Ebay there is nothing all that great once you put in the shipping costs to Canada.
Thanks!

Sometimes you can find them at Winners... we picked up a couple wooden Thomas train/tender sets for $7.99 each (Thomas & the red one), and a green train (Smudger?) for $6.99! That was about a month ago.
I also picked up 3 other die cast trains... Chungington I think for $4.99 each, but they don't fit on our Thomas railway set (such a nuisance!) - you can have them if you want!

Although not fantastic, we go to our local toy store which has competitive prices but if you spend over X amount you get a discount, increasing discount with amount spent and they offer a rewards point system on all purchases so after you collect X amount of points you can redeem for free stuff in store. Maybe check to see if any of your local shops offer this.
Looking for FPC for almost everything. Growing teen boy eating me out of house and home. Visit my facebook page www.facebook.com/UneekCreations
Will trade finished product from my Etsy shop.

You could try e-bay.
We were just in the US, and the prices on the Take n' Play Die Cast engines were really good (and they had a lot of different ones) We have ordered from Amazon.com before as well.
We've invested a small fortune in Thomas trains around here!
