Thread: Dry shampoo rec's?
-

I tried the one from Big Sexy Hair and hated it. Hair felt crunchy, too matte, even though I applied little, worked it in and brushed it out.
So any rec's for a dry shampoo? Something not too perfumy.
The crown area of my head tends to get oily compared to the rest of my normal/dry colored hair.

I use a little baby powder to soak up the oil. I put it in my hands then rub it into my roots, also i heard you can use bronzer for darker hair, but i prefer baby powder .. its faster!

Osis Dust It is the best in my opinion, but it's about $25 a bottle. You can probably find it cheaper online, but there are a lot of fakes out there.

Getting rid of greasy hair can easily be resolved by using baby powder but since you have dark hair, it would be better if you will use bronzer for better results.
You will always find enough reason to look your best!

I use Bumble and Bumble hair powder. It's tinted for your hair colour and covers the root growth between salon visits. It's a great product for adding a bit of texture to enhance a back comb as well. I buy mine at a salon,as I don't think you can get it anywhere else, although I'm not positive about that.

Batise Dry Shampoo is great! My favorite scent is the Tropical scent. I don't like the Original scent because it smells too much like chemicals... You can get it at SDM for like $9.99

I tried the Tresemme Dry Shampoo and didn't like it. It smelled nice for a brief period but my hair still looked oily.

I used Tresemme freshstart for oily/straight to normal hair. The first time I used this I put to much on and made my hair look grey, after that I've used much less and am happy with the results.

My neighbour gave me a bottle of AG Fast Forward dry shampoo (aerosol) just when I was about to buy some of your rec's. The AG seems to work good.
Thanks for all the rec's I made a list so I can check them out when I run out of the above product.

Baby Powder + Dark Bronzer, just a cheap one.. loose powder. I just use baby powder since I have really blonde hair, but add the bronzer since your hair is darker.
Put it in a bowl (and have something to cover it, so bugs don't get in) and I use an old face powder brush, and I dab it onto my roots. Or just put some in your hands, rub them togehter and comb your fingers in your roots.Last edited by Brandy Hunter; Wed, Sep 14th, 2011 at 07:01 PM.

I tried Tresemme and at first I thought it was okay but then it felt like it wasnt doing its job, it left my hair feeling heavy I don't recomend it. I used to use Ojon which is amazing except it has a horrible chemical smell to the point where I had to hold my breath everytime I used it... It was about $28 so can't really afford it anymore. i just wash my hair every other day.
And for those who found tresemme to be unsatisfactory I sent them an email and they sent me a FPC! =)
