My dbf printed off 4 aspirin coupons for me. Drove from kitchener to Cambridge to deliver to me last night so I can go deal hunting today. I personally seen my WM stock the aspirin. Thought great I am going to get 4 boxes. And I donate them to Bridges homeless shelter in Cambridge. Aspirin is on there donation list.
Of course to my surprise the shelves are cleared of the 3.ish aspirin. So I picked up the 4.ish aspirin. REALLY REALLY HATE CLEARING!

Anyways this is what I picked up
4 aspirin
2 packs of lever 2000 bar soap ( 8 soap total)
Pantene shampoo and conditioner.
My total was 3.72. Not bad but my plan was to be better. This thread is currently associated with: N/A

Thanks - heehee, I meant, I don't know why a shelter would not take Asprin. Thought it was strange? Maybe because of drug addictions? No clue. Glad this one does. I have about 5 to send off.

im not really sure why some wouldnt....? But I know they have families living in there. Its like a very small space for families, and then the rest is the traditional open room where ppl sleep. I am going to go monday and donate them. I am also going to see what else I can round up for them.

Great shopping. Sorry you couldn't find the cheaper aspirin but it is hit or miss anywhere. I went last night and there were none. Went this morning and there was 1. Yeah I was so excited. Sometimes there is not even the 4.67 or .97 one. Just the 5.97 which makes it free almost after tax but I don't use aspirin. So there yah go.

It is because Aspirin is extremely dangerous, especially if you do not have a detailed medical history of the person you are giving them to. That, and if someone has taken anything that could thin their blood that day, then takes an Asprin could throw a clot.
Anyone with any history of clotting, or heart problems should NEVER take aspirin. And it should never be administered to children.

It's great that you are able to donate to the shelters in your area.
