Petro-Canada $25 Prefered Price Card Only $20 at Metro (Ontario)

Does the mastercard save you 10 cents a liter? because the saving card only is saving you 2 cents a liter after you factor in the cost of $20 for $25 worth.

250 liters X $0.02 = $5 (your savings on the card)

The Mastercard saves you 2 cents off a litre.
When you use it " with " the Preferred card the total saved on each fill up is 12 cents.
I guess what I don't understand about the nay sayers on the whole thing is the way it is made to sound like a rip off. Is it?
I dunno, I mean, you earn Petro Points when you fill up while using this preferred card, and then you can redeem these points to load a gas savings card back up, it seems to work out to a savings for me.

I only see a 4 cent per liter savings? 2 cents on the master card and 2 cents (not 10 because you pay for the card) on the prefered.

it was on pg 6 of last weeks flyer but deal is suppose to be still on...the cards will be where all the other giftcards are (rack) if u cant find on rack u shud ask customer service returns area to ensure that they dont have them kept at their tillls...

Please dont make the mistake of thinking these are GC...you will still need to pay for your gas at the pump...this will only save you the 10cents a litre...
I know someone who bought into this, and thought it was an actual GC, thinking she'd already paid for the gas cus she had bought one of these...wasn't a nice surprise at the pump !
