I bought. I have plantar fasciitis quite bad (too many marathons when I was younger) so I have to wear expensive runners. At $0.167/AM even with high prices at the Running Room this knocks it back a bit for me.
iTunes card is an email.direct special this week with 1 mile/$1 spent up to 500AMs. That's an 11.4% kick back on a GC which is good if you use iTunes.

No AirMiles on the facebook coupon:

I bought it too!
With 3 teens, 2 in sports, runners are always needed!
Greetings all. I'm new here so I hope this posts as I intend it to. The Michelina's frozen meals at Safeway (the B10G100 ones) are on sale at the Winnipeg (Sargent X Maryland) Safeway I just visited for $1.50 each w/club card. Hope this is of use to someone. By the way Opera Bob, it was the Spark interview that turned me on to this site. Interesting interview and an even more interesting site. Thank you.
Thanks Cray,
It might be that the Michelina's which are listed as 4 for $7 is a misprint in the flyer at 4 for $6 which means they'd really be:
$1.50/$0.40 after AirMiles
If the new low fat, low salt are included I'll buy but I doubt it as low fat, low salt usually means higher prices.
As I buy BW GCs the price to me is:
$1.50/$0.17
4 for $6 sounds like the usual offer.
Just checked 2 Local Safeways and it's 4 for $7 here.
"Just looking at the coupon.. lol.. says limit two free, then below says limit one per household.. weird!"
1 coupon limit but the coupon allows for 2 free units when you buy 2 units.
PS: London Drug has the Nivea on for $2.17 this week.
Safeway was $2.71 with B2G50AMs.
Which is the better deal?
LD (2 x $2.17) x 1.12 = $4.86 after tax
Safeway was $6.07 after tax but you picked up 50 AMs = $5.72 offset, so
$6.07 - $5.72 = $0.35 vs. LD's $4.86
That's a true money in your pocket advantage of $4.86 - $0.35 = $4.51 on every 2 packages.
Even if you count in other loyalty programs or cash back on fuel from dealers other than Shell you've realized $4.00+ in free fuel on every 2 purchased.
I stocked up on Nivea. :)
And don't you smell sweet!Quote:

Okay so this came today via email from:

your name has been drawn as a winner ofMens Bulova Watchin the instant winner portion.
I had a super happy shop at Safeway today. Bought:
3 sets of 5 x $5 Family Size Kelloggs cereals (family only eats mini wheats!) get 100 am
1 set of 10 x $1.50 Michelinas get 100 miles.
2 hams at 50% off (BB Aug 31)
Airmiles bonus of Spend $100 get 150 miles
Paid $103.98, received 555 miles ($61.05) and all my cereals have the $5 gas cards so will get $75 in free gas. So made $32.07!
Had to go early to make sure all the free gas boxes weren't gone!
oh wow! i didn't realize that airmiles were worth that much. i don't do that much shopping at safeway and i DO have an airmiles card, so i guess i should make it more of a priority to shop there!!!
Reb,
Just be a smart AirMiles shopper by using the Page 1 analysis every week.
Yep, sometimes, as you've noticed, we Airheads get paid to shop.
Thank-you Tsija!!! I was hopeful the AM deal was on the cereal boxes with the gas card. I am off to get me some Mini-wheats too. I love love love them!!! Hopefully mine has them
Tsija I believe there is a household limit to how many gas cards you are able to claim, which I believe is 5 according to another SC thread
A smart shopper!Quote:
Yes, I am using my address, my parents, and my in-laws. Lucky for me, they don't coupon!
Smart indeed ! I think I need to engage friends to let me use their addresses too :)
Today's group buy of a Weber portable gas BBQ sold out in about 5 minutes. Sheesh, these are getting to be like the Living Well free samples, you gotta be RIGHT THERE when they go live, or you're SOL.
Especially the flyer advertised ones because of the additional exposure they draw. Not to mention more of the population is available on weekends.
Quote:
Bounty Paper Towel 2 or 6 Roll B2G50 6.99/4.24
Note that SDM has this on Sunday & Monday for $4.99 limit 4. This would be $2 lower than Safeway/package pre tax.
After tax they'd be $4.99 x 1.12 = $5.59
Safeway is $6.99 x 1.12 = $7.83 after tax but $4.97 after AirMiles (a $0.1143/AM) or $4.50 (@ $0.133/AM Best Western).
So you're saving $0.62 - $1.09/package over buying at SDM. That's cash in your pocket.
Seems small but remember "Mind the pence and the pounds take care of themselves".
This thread is so full of win
