Coppertop Batteries B2G75 also BOGO NPG -$10.50 (This could be a biggie depending on price!)
Does anyone know how much the batteries are?
We use a lot of them for kids' toys.
Thanks

No problem, Ameba! At my local store yesterday, batteries were:
$10.49 - 2 9V
$11.99- 8 AA
$10.29- 4 AAA Ultra
There's also the $.75 brandsaver coupns valid until at least Dec 31st, so that definitely sweetens the deal!

I've just moved back to the west from Montreal and it seems like airmiles are WAY better over here. I think I got 1 or so a week in Montreal (almost totally pointless) but this seems amazing.
Thank you to everyone contributing to this thread. I hope to be helpful as well as soon as I get my bearings.

My shopping plan:
BOGO, 2 earn 75 airmiles
6 X 11.99 (8 AA batteries) + 6 Free = 71.94
71.94 - 12 X $1 coupons = $59.94
= 450 airmiles
Buy 10 Earn 100 airmiles
20 X 2.50 Green Giant Frozen Veggies = $50
$50 - 20 X $0.50 coupons = $40
= 200 airmiles
Buy $6 in other items.
Total: $105.94 - $5 entertainment coupon
= 100.94
Spend $100 and earn 100 airmiles coupon.
Base airmiles: 5 airmiles
So, on the same receipt, I can earn 755 airmiles?
Can someone please confirm this?
Thank youLast edited by Ameba; Sun, Dec 19th, 2010 at 05:28 PM.

Exit,
Welcome back.
Yes you can really pile on the AirMiles through Safeway. However, be aware that Safeway sometimes boosts the prices when adding Miles.
The way we look at it here (vs. other sites) allows us to determine whether an offer is good or not.
Collect coupons and watch for name brand offers that are heavily discounted with lots of bonus AMs.
Ameba,
Where'd you get the Green Giant coupons?

Ado,
Just remember you can do a maximum of 10 offers or 500 AMs/offer whichever comes first per shopping trip.
So the max on the batteries is 6 offers (12 total)
6 x 75 = 450AMs
If you did 7 offers theoretically it'd be 7 x 75 = 525 which is 25 AMs over.
I'm not sure which of 2 things would happen:
1. You get 50 AMs for the 7th bringing your total to 500
2. The give you nothing for the 7th leaving you at 450.
