Just in Safeway. I didn't see it in the flyer but sometimes Safeway has unadvertised instore AM specials.

Dare "Vinta" crackers $3 each B2G15AMs.

There are $0.50 coupons on Vinta good to August 31 around.

    If you buy 4 (see below why I say 4) that's be $12 - $2 (4 x $0.50) = $10 and you'd get 30AMs = $4.20 (or one 2 for 1 movie ticket worth about $10 and you could take the crackers instead of buying popcorn). Hey! I'm a cheap date! ;-)

Now there were Dare B3G1 coupons out there. I don't now if they're out of date but if not:

    3 = $7.50 (with 3 x $0.50 coupons)
    4th is free

Total $7.50 and you should still get 30 AMs = $4.20

I have too much time on my hands!

Sorry everyone. The site seems to to be collapsing everything for me this morning. I've tried editing which didn't work.

Trying again with a different browser but I'm guessing my HTML has been disabled on this site. How to get it back?:

    May 10-16, 2009:

    White Swan Jumbo P'Towels $4.99 B2G30 ($4.20)

    There were $1 coupons on this so effectively: [(2 x $4.99) - (2 x $1) - $4.20AMs] = $1.89 each.

    Hamburger Buns 2 for $4 B2G10 ($1.40) = Eff. $1.30 each.

Nature Valley "Sweet & Salty" bars and B. Crocker Fruit Snacks 4 for $10 B4G20 ($2.80)

    effectively$1.80 each.

There are $0.50 coupons on the NV which would lower it to $1.30 each. OK but not as good as some of the other AM bar offers of the recent past.

    General Mills Cereals 330-365g $3.99 B3G25 ($3.50).

If you have the boomer email B4G50 then buying 4 = $15.96 and you'd get 75AMs =$10.50 so effectively $1.37 each.

NOW! I don't know if it'd work. You'd have to look at the "boomer" email coupon more closely but if you bought 12 cereal $47.88 you'd get: 4 x 25 AMs = 100 = $14

The boomer B4G50 email would get you 3 offers so 150 AMs = $21

    so effectively ($47.88-$35)/12 = $1.07 each.

Now "Giving-Small" this is for your charity work:

Buy 16 Cereal = $63.84 This gets you:

    a. 5 x 25 on the regular offer = 125 AMs
    b. 4 x 50 on the boomer offer = 200 AMs
    c. 1 x 100 on the boomer B$60G100AMs offer = 100 AMs

    425 AMs = $59.50 or effectively $0.27 each

Of course it all depends if you can use the boomer coupons multiple times on the same purchase but past experience seems to be you can.

Regardless, the above is an outstanding one for others to donate to a food bank for a tax receipt. Every $100 spent this way would generate $130 to $150 in value elsewhere. And, heck, if you've got coupons!!!!! Free effectively!

    Unilever B3G10 ($1,40) and B6G30 ($4.20)

    Imperial $3.99
    Hellmann's Mayo $4.49
    Ragu $2.50 Becel $4.99
    Skippy B1G1
Knorr soup mix 3 for $5

    General Mills B5G50 ($7)

Hamburger Helper, Refried Beans, Tortillas $2.50
    Pizza Pops, Salsa $3

Looking at Giving-Small's boomer coupons and buying HH, Beans, Tortillas for a food bank and buying 25 items = $62.50:

    5 x 50 on the base offer = 250 AMs = $35
    B$60G100AM boomer coupon = 100 AMs = $14

    Total $49 in AMs or (62.50 - 49)/25 = eff. $0.54 each

Donate to foodbank for a receipt if you're in a tax bracket that generates a 50% refund then you'd get $49 in AMs + $31.25 tax refund = $80.25 value elsewhere. That's a 28% return.

    Clorox Products $3 - $3.99 B3G15 ($2.10) and B6G40 ($5.60)

    Unilever $1.99 - $4.99 B3G10 ($1.40) and B6G50 ($7)

On Sunsilk hair care $1.99 buying tax = $11.94 before tax and you get $7 in AMs = $0.82 each effectively.

Can a food bank use hair care?

    30 Sunsilk = $59.70 but with tax you'd be over $60

    6 x 50 base = 300 AMs
    100 boomer = 100 AMs 400 AMs = $56

    50% charity refund = $29.85 Total value elsewhere= effectively $85.85 on a $59.70 pretax purchase.

If you have the $5 Entertainment Book coupon you'd knock off most of the tax too.

BTW: Has anyone noticed coupons on shampoos, etc have virtually disappeared? I guess the hair wars are over.

Even better: There are two sets of coupons out there right now. a. The "boomer" has a B4G50 on General Mills cereal and a B$60G100AMs on overall purchase. b. The other set has a B6G100 on General Mills cereal and a B$100G100AMs on overall purchase. Using the B6 from "b" with the B$60 from "a" and buying 12 cereal as part of a $60 purchase you'd get: 300 AMs vs. 250 AMs an effective $7 difference. Once again, Too much time on my hands!

    Y,

    Thanks.

Was just in Safeway as I was next door at Home Depot.

Decided to buy another 4 Vinta crackers. (Bought 6 earlier)

    $12 - (4 x $0.50 coupons) = $10 + 30 AMs

The customer service manager saw me in line and ran over. A customer had won 10 AMs on a break open. She didn't collect AMs and gave it to the CSM who knowing my fondness for AirMiles saved it for me.

    Now up to 30 + 10 = 40 AMs

The cashier gave me a break open. 10 more!!!

    Now at 50 AMs = $7 on a $10 purchase.

    Gotta love it!

So I ran over and bought a 6/49 ticket for tonight! LOL!

You are on a roll Opera Bob.

Many thanks from all these air mile deals. I think I followed UNTIL this one:

Even better: There are two sets of coupons out there right now. a. The "boomer" has a B4G50 on General Mills cereal and a B$60G100AMs on overall purchase. b. The other set has a B6G100 on General Mills cereal and a B$100G100AMs on overall purchase. Then my head exploded ... I don't think we can use Spend 60 - get $100 and Spend $100 get $100 UNLESS we do 2 shops(check out twice) ... is that what you're suggesting.

And shelters really need shampoo ... --any personal hygenie items are biggies -- going to repost these on the Shelter thread.. wow !!!!

Nope, each email has 2 coupons. I was suggesting using the:

B6G100 on cereal from one email with the spend $60 get 100 Airmiles (B$60G100) coupon from the other email.
