I got a Safeway flyer today. The weekend has B100G100 coupon good for the weekend. I also got an airmiles envelope in the mail today with those personalized bonus coupons.

I also got my personalized bonus coupons today!

I have a question for one of you experts.
I have heard that some people are using more than one of those spend 100 earn 100am coupons. (flyers, email etc.) and have actually received several hundred AM. I tried using 2 at my local Victoria Safeway the other day and they said absolutely not. They called a manager over and he told me that in the past they have allowed it but no longer will. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I've had pretty much the exact same experience. After reading on another SC Safeway thread that it was possible to combine the two coupons, I happily planned a shopping trip to Safeway. The cashier didn't want to do it at first, but then another cashier came by and said "try it." So he scanned the second coupon, and it worked. But he said to me it was against the rules and he absolutely wouldn't allow it in the future. He was pretty irritated with the whole episode. I felt horrible! I didn't read the coupons like I should have, and I think either one of both of the coupons said "not to be combined..." So it was the first and last time I will ever attempt it.

I think a lot of other people have been trying to cash in on "double dipping." I'm not sure if the coupons have always said "not to be combined..." or if Safeway recently added the wording. I personally should have read more carefully. It's bad for all of us to try to get around the rules.

They will both scan but both no longer will show on your air miles statement!

The Facebook clue for tomorrow's group buy was "something to help you preserve your memories" so most likely a camera or camcorder would be my best guess.

Will have the analysis up some time this evening.

    Kellogg's is B5G75 @ $5 each. I'd wait for the B5G100 instead.

One that looks interesting is a Buy $25 of Smucker's products and get 60 AMs. That just over a 25% value and there are lots of coupons out there to help maximize.

Thanks...did notice that too--a lot of people would hope for an ipod with camera built in, but I'm guessing you are right--gee what will I do with all the time I used to spend checking out this site and safeway's FB

    Thanks OB! Always appreciated!

The Kellogg's deal is disgusting, IMHO! Not too long ago (and I'm talking in weeks, not months!) it used to be the cereal was 2/$11.00 and buying 5 got you 100 air miles. Now it's $6.99 each and buying 5 only gets you 75 air miles!!! I'll defintely pass on this!

Safeway seems in the past to have rotated a B5G75 and B5G100 on Kellogg's. We'll just have to see what the next offer is! ;-)
