Get Paid To Shop Again This Week!:
Just got the new flyer this morning.
Last week cereal wars. This week soda pop wars.
Also don't forget Tuesday is 10% off day (minimum $35 purchase).
1. Safeway house brands pop is B4G40AMs (12 tin boxes) 4 for $10
40AMs = $5.60 so it works out to $1.10/box
I note SDM has house brand pop on this week for $1.99 so effectively you ahead $0.89/box.
Tuesday 4 = $9 so effectively $3.40/4 = $0.85/box
2. Gatorade ( 6 x 591ml) $4.99 B3G40
40AMs = $5.60
$14.97 purchase - $5.60 = $9.37/3 = $3.12 each ($281 Tuesday)
3. Pepsi (6 x 710ml) 2 for $8.80 B4G80
80AMs = $11.20
$17.60 purchase - $11.20 = $5.40/4 = $1.35 effectively ($1.13 Tuesday)
GET PAID TO SHOP!!!:
4. Coca-Cola Products (Various): B6G60 = $8.40 AMs
Best deal!!!!!!!! Coke 1 Litre 4 for $5
6 = $7.50 and you get $8.40 in AMs
Tuesday 6 = $6.75 and you get $8.40 in AMs
Even if you use the AMs to purchase the worst gift certificate Shell coupons each AM = $0.1143 you still get $6.86 worth of gas!!!!!!
So Tuesday
$6.75 gets the pop which you keep + $6.86 worth of gas
This is a great one to donate to a charity if you can get a tax receipt!!!!
Emperor:
I received all my AMs from last week. Did you get your 12,000AMs
Also, on a base miles question:
I used the 5X base miles coupon as a test on my credit card which gets me 1AM/$10 at Safeway.
Turns out the base miles is still 1AM/$20 spent on these offers. So you're still better off taking cash on 10% off day rather than 10Xs base miles regardless of your credit card.
Also, If anyone gets any new "boomer, etc" coupons this month can you let us know.
Thanks,
-

I still haven't received any of my miles from the past 2 weeks..
waiting anxiously
also..I would have jumped on the cola deal...if only I haven't purchased 24 cases of nestea for that promotion last week....yes, 24 cases for 2 households........
i have stockpiled more pop/ice tea than a convenience store..(nestea deal + $5 coupon from CDN tire...= A LOT of pop).

blue,
The Coke B6G60 on 1Litre bottles starts at Safeway tomorrow through Sunday.
Most people don't get the flyer until Sunday but it's an insert in our community paper which usually comes the Friday before so I usually get it early. This week it came Saturday.
So all next week at Safeway.
Others in the B6G60 offer are:
Minute Maid 12 tin boxes - $5.99 each
Powerade 710ml - 3 for $4
Mini Cans 6s - 2 for $5
Monster Energy Drink 710 ml - $3.79 each
Evian (1L) - $3 for $4
The Coke (1L) is the best deal though.

So isn't nestea a coke brand? Which would mean if they have the marked bottles you could get the MIR as well...

Honestly never really looked that closely at them to see but you can tell the box right away, theres a mastercard symbol on them. It also seems to be only the one thats 'cool' not the nestea zero. With how often I drink pop I told myself I didn't need to buy these for the MIR but $15 for 12 with a $25 mastercard AND 120 AM, plus I have a boomer coupon left, I think I might have to buy some if they have the marked bottles tomorrow.

Hey!
Great site/thread.
Being a long time Airmiles "hawk" I can see spending a lot of time here!
Just perusing the previous posts- a couple of answers:
When redeeming Airmiles coupons at Safeway, your total HAS to cover the tax, as tax isn't considered as a valid charge toward airmiles.
If you're really close, say $101.00 have the cashier print out a receipt and look at the Tax.
If the tax due is less than $1.00 you're good, if it's more than $100 say $2.34 then you'll have to spend $102.35 to make sure Tax is covered off. (Basically an extra bag of Cheetos.)
I'm not sure if they've ever actually denied a coupon credit for not
covering the tax, but it's within the rules for them to do so.
- Yes Nestea is a Coke Brand, (Pepsi's is Brisk.)
I'm probably preaching to the choir- but you all save your receipts and check the airmiles account to what should be credited? I'm surprised how many things just fall through the cracks. They're good about crediting, but you really have to pay attention.
Good to see y'all!
