So many people think Safeway is over priced, and it is, unless you know how to play the AM game. Great job MrsF1sh!! You did Smart Canucks proud!

6 Advil Nightime (pre-paid 1 to get the AMs)
    4 Bright Green TP

    Used 6 x $3 Advil coupons
    $10 When U Buy $75

Total was $72 (after tax and discounts) and picked up 183 AMs worth about $20.

It's playing the Game that makes this enjoyable!

BTW: BW cards were up again yesterday.

I also noticed they have a discount on Via Rail cards bringing them in at around $0.139/AM

    Lav,

Some of my friends think I'm obsessed but it's just a type of crossword puzzle figuring out all the permutations LOL!

Q: What's the difference between Air Miles and the Toronto Maple Leafs?
    A: Air Miles earn points.

I was pretty happy with the airmiles specials this week too, things we need/use + coupons + shopping at an extreme airmiles location = great boost to my airmiles account with a small hit to my bank account.

    OOP - $110
    Total savings - 44%
    Airmiles earned - 495

Also mailed away for the $10 GC and found the new tear pads that have been MIA at my local Safeway. And i was also impressed that they held a moment of silence in their store at 11 am while I was shopping on Remembrance Day. It was an excellent shop.

Maybe try asking at the CS desk...one store I went to had them there. Another store, you had to ask the cashier for them. There were none on the shelves.

And that's why I was impressed, seems like there aren't many sacred holidays anymore (in alberta anyway) so it was nice that despite the fact that they were open, they did take a moment to announce over the PA system and the store as a whole stopped moving, to remember.

Check by the Potato Chip and Quaker Oatmeal shelves. Some are hanging from small cardboard displays. Others are just pads laying about. If you're in the Victoria area I can leave you one. I believe you have to shop by the 16th.
