Stopped by my local Safeway last night. With the bonus AM coupon, my outlay was $100 exactly, and I got 655 AM. Not too bad
There are $0.75 tear pad coupons out there on Kellogg's.
Use 30 and it saves $22.50
Buy the Pringles offer and something else for $2.50 and you could get:
500 (cereal) + 100 Pringles + 150 (B$100G150) + 5 base = 755 AMs ($79.28)

I went and did my second haul of kelloggs today and before coupons my price was over $100 but they wouldn't let me use the buy $100 get 150 AMs...is this right? I've been told different things and I'm not sure what the actual rule is....but maybe I'm just being AM greedy...geesh...the stuff was more then FREEEEEEEEEE!!! and all those SYB pins!
J
PS and I also discovered you can't get more then 500 AMs per promotion per day! luckily you can raincheck both the AM promo and the price!!! woohoo! WTG SW!!

PS and I also discovered you can't get more then 500 AMs per promotion per day! luckily you can raincheck both the AM promo and the price!!! woohoo! WTG SW!!
Example:
30 Cereal = 500 AMs
50 Pringles = 500 AMs
If you bought both at the same time you'd get 1,000 total.
If you bought 36 Cereal (6 multoiples) you'd only get credit for 5 x 100 not 6 x 100.
If the cereal had been B5G40 the most you could get is 400 AMs even if you bought 55 (11 multiples) as yoou'd hit the 10 multiple limit before 500 AMs.
You can get by that restriction by having more than one club card and doing separate shops.
For the B$100G150, etc. the $100 must be after coupons (although it shouldn't make a difference to Safeway as they get refunded the amount.

Did they give a reason why they wouldn't let you use the B$100G150AM? I used it yesterday and my total was bang on $100, no problem. Worked out great for me.

I used the B$100 get 150AM's today too. Second time using it as well. Both times my OOP after coupons was $102 and $105 (keep in mind it has to be $100 after tax and deposits. Or so they say)
My first time using the coupon was on groceries and I got the Save $10 wus $10 coupon earlier this week. Which I used on this transaction.
Then I finally I found the cereal pins. Last day. Thanks to thriftygranny Bought 30 boxes of cereal (19 with pins), 1 jug of milk, 6 boxes of Quaker granola bars, 2 Tropicana juice (free when you buy 3 quaker products. Last day for that as well). Used 3 $1 Kelloggs printable coupons that I had left. Total $105.21 AM's 655
Thanks to all for your help on this amazing deal!Last edited by coley3; Fri, Mar 22nd, 2013 at 03:21 AM.

question - and I apologize if this has been asked and answered 100's of times already.
are the 100 AM bonus coupons slower to go into your account than the other AM's for a shop?
e.g. march 9th 'ish - on my account is 6 AM's for the $120 I spent, some pringles AM's, etc. but not the 100 AM's WUS $100.
thank you!

ok...I have to share...my kelloggs totals from last week (including todays RC!!)
84 boxes of cereal (mostly vector and allbran)
$280-$147 in coupons=$133 opp but I got +1400 AMs annnnd all of this loot:
10 Vector Tshirts
4 Kellogs workout shirts
56 SYB pins
Sigh...I had to share because my DH just thinks I'm crazy!
J
PS I tried to donate the cereal but they wouldn't take it out of the box (I had to open the box for the SYB pins). I didn't want a tax receipt but alas they would not accept it. Luckily, I support two families in town every month so they will be getting ALOT of cereal!!
