Checked out a few of the 4 Page Insert items:

    1. The Barilla Pasta is still $2 regular (and $2.49 for the Plus) so with $0.75 coupons and part of a B$100G100 it's excellent.

    2. Oasis Juice B2G20 4/2.95

    3. Cascade Action Packs B2G30 11.99/10.41 (I'll pass in favour of using the $2 Sunlight coupons at Walmart on any size pack)

    4. Colgate Total B3G20 2.99/2.29

    5. Herbal Essence Hair Care B3G25 2.99/2.20 (With $0.75 P&G Brandsaver coupons it's 2.24/1.45 which is good)

    6. Safeway Select Tissue (6) B2G50 5.49/2.86 or $0.48/box Excellent offer!

Finally, the Arm & Hammer is $2/1.12 as part of a B6G50. If you have the $1 coupons it's effectively $0.12 not counting any taxes.

    Safeway West
    3 day sale
    Strawberries $1.99lb
Kraft Cracker Barrel cheese $6.99 for 700gm
    Regular sales
Corn on the cob 12 for $3.96 (still pricy but the same everywhere)
Cottonelle TP is a winner this week! with the airmiles plus a coupon the $5.99 price takes a nose dive!
Bicks pickles $3 each plus the but 5 get 50 plus .50 cent coupons
    (5 bicks picles costs 15 - am value $5.25 - 2.50 in coupons = $7.25 or $1.45 each)
Got2B hair styers $4.99 - $5 printable = free (coupons are all gone now) AM credit $4.2 That means paid to shop if you get 6!
Arm and hammer toothpaste 2 for $4 - $1 coupons... buy 6 and earn 50 airmiles.
    (buy 6 arm and hammer tooth pastes = $12 - 6 $1 coupon - AM value of $5.25 = .75 cents for all or .125 cents each!)
Cheeze whiz 900gm for $4.99 <<that is a buy price!
There is a potential deal with the herbal essence if there is another p&G brand that will work with the coupon of $4 off wub2
(Bob has the herbal essence deal posted above)

These deals where you buy 6 to get the best deal are the reason i grab 6 coupons when i am at the tear pads. This would have been posted yesterday but Safeway is a hold out on their flyers!

The Head 'n Shoulders was a good deal for me. They were on sale $4.99 and were part of B2G1 offer. I used my B1G1 coupon and $1.50 off so it worked out 3 for $3.49. I was happy to see the salmon burgers on sale with bonus airmiles and they were in stock (they have been MIA for the last few months).

Barilla Pasta coupon says one coupon per customer. So unless the cashier doesn't read the fine print, then you can only use one coupon per transaction.
I bought 30 Barilla Pastas last week and my bill showed 300 AM + 300 AM. But I only got 300 AM today in my AM acct for my last week's purchase. They must have fixed the double AM error.

The ones I used before were out of the newspaper inserts and I had no problems. Then again it might have been an unobservant cashier.

Just looking at Safeway's B2G1 P&G offer, for example Pantene/Head and Shoulders @ $4.99 each:

Not counting tax 3 would cost $9.98 or $3.33 each

If you can get credit for 3 Brandsaver $1.50 coupons they are $1.33 each.

    The 4 page insert has:
    5. Herbal Essence Hair Care B3G25 2.99/2.20 (With $0.75 P&G Brandsaver coupons it's 2.24/1.45 which is good)
So unless you use the AirMiles for flights the B2G1 offer with coupons is better (and IMO the Pantene being a better quality product).

However, if they only let you use 2 $1.50 coupons then the HE is better but I'm guessing 3 will pass muster.

That should fall under the scope of the coupon on page 3 of P&G. B2 different products and get $4 off making them .83 cents each.

Even more Cheeks. Was just in. The Pantene is 375ml while the HE is 300ml (some 15% more @ 347ml). So Pantene is an even better deal by 25%.

ALSO!!!!! Don't know if this is every Safeway.

Just dropped in to get some Cheezies for Buffy and picked up a bag of Low-Salt Snack Artist chips.

Cashier tells me there's an In-Store coupon for free Snack Artist chips so free.

Also won a Cadbury candy bar (up to 60g) on the scratch and sniff!

movie night at Bob and Buffy's!
Will use our 2 for 1 Nestea coupons to see The Wolverine today.

Also thinking this will be one of the very rare times this week I'll get to use a B$100G100 coupon.

Yeah, but there's only two of us. So, it'll be:

    Barilla Pasta
    Triscuits (low salt)
    SS Tissues
    Smucker's ($1 coupons)
