Update: This morning I woke up and saw 72 airmiles x 3 from the 25x event and 3 base airmiles x 3. Why 72 and not 75? So I wrote to them and asked and they replied that they added 18 airmiles to my account this morning as well as the 100 bonus miles. So at least that's over and done with.Quote:

This is the same GM offer as the cheerios. There is some time left on it. Just watch your box size on the B6G50 offer to make sure they match up. They didn't quite match up on the last offer... it was only about a 50 gram difference so if your not paying attention you could miss out. Yogurt is a option for the freebies too and sometimes it matches up with the airmiles.Quote:

However I get 25%+ extra points at the moment with BW Rewards so I won't switch. You can switch between BW Rewards and AMs once a month I recall.

Funny thing is I got into the Airmiles thing and realized the advantages of donating to charity without knowing anything about this story.
A few years back Safeway had a promo on pet food that was almost one of these. Someone here bought a couple thousand dollars worth and got 3 or 4 times that value back after donating to an animal shelter for a tax receipt. Just after that Safeway brought in the 500AM/offer/day maximum.
One year I donated about $2,000 worth to a foodbank and got about $4,000 in AMs plus a tax receipt. That was when 1AM = $0.139, EGGOs were $2 + bonus AMs and there were $1 coupons.
Not as easy to do now. Still....!
Also, a couple years back there was an offer on baked beans (?????) in Eastern Canada. One of the eastern chains was clearing them out a a ridiculous price and a lot of people loaded up.
