I'm not a fan of these sorts of offers but for some of you might be interested. Basically, everytime you apply for a credit card it affects your credit rating so constantly applying for and cancelling credit cards and reapply could affect your ability to borrow but heck, it is 1,000 AMs.

All 3 of the save on foods will be open in the next bit here... one (the first) just opened today... a 4th location is almost done... they are talking about 12 stores coming into calgary!!!! I am doing a happy dance! I am sure loblaws will be heating things up soon too... all their workers just came off strike 7 days ago and their stores are slower as a result... so they will crank up the heat 2 fold to try and get customers back... It is going to be AWESOME!
Nice coupons, but given the "deals" this week, my total purchases were 4 lbs. butter, and 4 bottles of refreshe pop--nothing else was even CLOSE to a reasonable price, even considering AM's.

Not sure if this was mentioned. Went to Safeway to buy the Quaker granola bars 5/$10. Was hoping the yogurt bars were included this time and they were!!!! Then on the end cap I see a sign that says buy 4 Quaker products get a free 4L of milk. So I got 3 4L jugs of milk with my granola bars today. It was amazing!! I bought more granola bars but didn't think we could go through more than 4 jugs as I had 1 at home in 2 weeks time. So just grabbed 3. The till did it automatically and in 1 receipt. No problems. Other Quaker products that worked were cereal, pancake mix, oatmeal etc.
