Help please- I have asked "uncle google" and am getting conflicting results. Can I use a BOGO coupon on top of a BOGO sale at Safeway? I read their coupon policy and didn't see anything that restricted this.

I have a BOGO coupon for Ziploc Containers which are BOGO at Safeway this week- how would this work?

Some people were able to do this. I never was. I was always directed to the fine print on the back of the flyers where it did state quite clearly that they cannot be combined. Not sure if this is still the case though, since as of last week there are no longer Safeways in my areas. It's possible the new flyers have better wording?

Loved the bit about "Everybody gets our lowest price, everyday."

Considering Safeway is one of the highest priced does this translate as "Everybody pays more."

Always skeptical of "new & improved" statements!

they let me use my coupon- But I had to buy 4- get 2 free with instore promo, 1 free with coupon and pay for 1? I don't understand the logic but it worked for me

I purchased 6 Scrubbing Bubbles: The Scrubbing Bubbles are B1G1 I used a 1.00 coupon on the ones I was purchasing got 1 free from in store and used a B1G1 coupon on the third bottle Total cost $ $6.70 for 6 bottles and earned 60 Airmiles

    @petemcbride It's transaction based, after a limit is exceeded the product will scan through at the non-promotional price.

That is strange--it showed up earlier than usual on their twitter (8am OB time), and is usually cross-posted on their FB page later in the day--did have to dig into the "conversations" to get these questions and answers.

Even if they don't "like" or "love" you on FB, Twitter is transparent, I believe--if you follow them, you should see everything, which is why it's a good place to post comments/complaints, plus I think they respond to them faster than on FB (or as you know, don't respond on FB).

Pretty good value on coupon--Twitter coupon was worth $11.35, so I "saved" 65%--so even with no club card the CRAZY Safeway math continues

And looks like they're wanting to cause a frenzy tomorrow--hinting a Gift Card--that could be wild

I was about to buy it until I realized the cost of it doubled. This has now turned into a huge debacle.
