Well Thrifty's is generally over-priced and the Airmile offers have only been so so.

However, today I spent $13.97 and got 1 base mile. Don't know if this is an oddity of the season but perhaps it's 1/$10 at Thrifty's while it's 1/$20 at Safeway.

Have you been there in the past week? Remember that your spend accumulates for the entire week. I see this sometimes now at Safeway making a small purchase and the checkout shows 1 mile added.

The pizza deal was great! If you collect only cash, you could spend 95 miles, get 100 back, plus 2 pizzas and $1 filler.

I didn't have the room for a large purchase like the Superstore deal last year.. but I got enough to get me to qualify for Onyx again next year.
