I did end up getting the 100 airmiles from a spend $100 get 100 AMs in July. Not sure why it took so long but I'm happy I got it! My husband was happy when I told him we got 880 AMs from Safeway in July from 2 or 3 trips and we spent maybe $200.

Note: SDM has it 3.49 this week so Safeway's effective price of $1.87 rocks.

Just a reminder that Brisk is also part of the Pepsi B3G40 airmiles event. Use your Brisk B2G1 free coupons for an even better deal (these coupons expire Sept. 30!!)!

Also, not a great price, but they also had Dare candies B3G40 or 50 (can't remember which) airmiles. The Dare bags of jellybeans were the most expensive at $4.49 and the Dare fruit slices and jujubees were $3.99 (and these were sale prices! eeek!)

I don't know if anyone is interested in this but Safeway has SB toilet gels on for 2.99 I used the 3.00 printable and a BOGO yesterday and got 2. I really need to get into airmiles more so do I get airmiles on the total before coupons and club savings or on the total I pay??

Does not look like it, although, sometimes airmiles.ca puts up a coupon on wednesday/thursday, didn't spot one today but it may be worth looking tomorrow.

Been travelling on business so hope to have analysis up this evening.

Doesn't look too outstanding this week but there is a P&G Event on this coming week B3G15 and B6G40. The new "Brandsaver" coupon books are out this weekend in local newspapers so keep a look out.

    Shopaholic just noticed this though:

Keep your eyes out everyone for that one too.

Anyone received their Herbal Essence Miles yet.

Some at are reporting getting them. I seem to be on 2 week delay now so hope to get around 720-800 tonight.

    September 6 - 12

In the following first number is sale price. Second number is effective value based on $0.14/AM). If there is a multiple offer, ie, B3G15 & B6G45 a third number corresponds to the value of the extra offer.

With effective valuing you can compare the relative prices of a product after accounting for the AirMiles against the same product in another store. For example,

If Coca-Cola is $2.00 with 10 Airmiles it has an effective value of $0.60 [$2 - (10 x $0.14)]. If another store is selling the same product for $1 you know the effect of the AirMiles beats that price.

Print off a copy of the following to take comparison shopping.

Again on first read nothing stupendous this week however Tuesday is 10% off ($35 minimum purchase) so who knows, especially, as once again they have a 4 page insert with No Prices Given (NPG). Some look like they might have potential but I often find they boost prices on these before adding AirMile bonuses.

This offer from Safeway only saves 2.8% ($50) to 3.5% ($100). Personally I bought $600 worth at SDM and will skip Safeway's offer.

    p.8

Dempster's Smart Breads B2G10 $2.50/1.80 (There are $0.50 coupons out there).

There is also an insert this week. Normally the inserts are of dubious value as the bonus offers are often inflated in price. The prices shown are the amount to subtract to get an equivalent price/item. All of the products displayed are NPG (No Price Given).Price shown is amount to subtract/item. Some look like they might have potential. Here they are for what they're worth:

I'll list these tomorrow as it's been a long day and we don't know the prices anyway.
