I think the energizer batteries are a great deal. $5, b2g30 combined with the b2g$3 off coupon (found mine at Safeway with the batteries located at customer service)
Makes each pack 1.93 (without tax) For comparisons Superstore has their brand for 4.97 this week.
I have been trying to find a deal on C batteries for a kids toy...dollerama has 2 pack energizers for $3, would have been $6/4 vs Safeway 1.93/4!!!

Anyone who is attempting to get airmiles can take 3 first and watch screen after cashier scan 3rd one, 30 airmiles should show up afterwards. If not, I think safeway screwed up on this one.

Where did you find these in the store?! I checked 2 stores and could only find 6-packs (which were tagged buy 3, get 30 Air Miles).

If the miles are not going through at the cash, I don't think a resell at Customer Service would make any difference.

Actually Ron, I've had a couple in the past that didn't show up but did on the resale.

CS might be able to award AMs manually if they see the flyer. I know the tellers at Save-On can award missing points.

Had a good bit of CS at Save-On this week. Had bought two $50 BW GCs as Cash + Points. The girl who took the order apparently entered info in an incorrect order so when the GCs arrived we had an extra 6,000 taken off for 12,000 total. The store manager had trouble figuring out the history so just manually added 12,000 back in.

He was so accommodating I told him I couldn't cheat him and he'd given me 6,000 more than required.

"Thanks for being honest but keep the extra 6,000 (worth $20)".

Mentioned that to a friend who's a CSR at Thrifty's and she said it's common practice to give back the extra.

"We don't want to lose thousands of dollars of future business over $20."

a_1_a - why didn't you buy 33 to attempt to get the 30 extra miles? I know it would be 11x the deal which might not work, would have been a good time to test the rumour they got rid of that limit.
