lol I didn't think they could get any higher... Their promo dept at BMO must be insane. Makes me want to put all my Nov purchases on AMEX just to spite them.

Sobeys now has a site https://getmyoffers.ca where you sign in with your airmiles number and load offers. Unfortunately no offers are available unless you shop there and they appear to be based on what you buy. Some offers have been 50% off or bonus airmiles on products. It took a couple of weeks after I shopped at sobeys for offers to appear.

Nolan Hill Sobeys in Calgary just opened this Friday and they had some grand opening specials. One of the deals was large eggs for $1.49.

Got 5 gift cards. Had wanted 8 but they were out of a number I wanted and then the Airmiles on one didn't go through so had to do "the book" as they can't do a phantom refund-resale on gift cards.

Oh well 300 so around 500-600 hundred short of ONYX for next year so far. Thrifty's offers starting to appear. Not sure how close I'll come!

SDM has their annual gift card gimmick this week... Not as lucrative as this one, but more choice of cards.

You can and should watch the cash register monitor to see the airmiles shown before paying for the transaction.
